Laura Erkeneff is founder of Training For Techies, Inc., a consulting, training and coaching company that helps technical professionals integrate technology, business practices and people for improved business results and professional development.

Laura partners with PeopleThink in leadership development programs, and uses with her coaching clients.

Her particular focus areas include:

  • Creating high performing development cultures
  • Facilitating strategic organizational partnerships and teamwork
  • Developing multi-industry, high-potential coaching programs focused on global leadership
  • Creating and sustaining innovation in the workplace
  • Developing technical professionals as
    leaders

She is a faculty member for the American Management Association, where she trains business leaders in strategy.

Laura’s career spans multiple industries. In the semiconductor industry, she managed organizational development teams that integrated complex technologies in more than 17 different cultures. In construction, she coached executive teams in succession planning and executive development. She also helped develop the fourth
largest construction and aggregate recycling company in the U.S. Laura was instrumental in creating the first-ever environmental strategy for a Top-3 ranked construction company.

A strong believer in giving back to the community, Laura currently volunteers for a program that helps businesses create Sustainable People Systems that increase profits and aid the planet. As a volunteer for the Clean Tech Open, Laura assisted in curriculum design, and mentored in sustainability.

Laura holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
